Hello, I'm Sarah...

Welcome! Whether you're a parent looking for care, you're bringing your child to counseling for the first time, or you are going through a change and need support, I'm glad you're here. I offer a warm, genuine presence and a safe space to be honest about what's hard. Together, we'll work toward understanding, healing, and growth at a pace that feels right for you and your family.
I work with children ages 4 and up, including telehealth sessions for children 9 and older. With younger clients, I use child-centered play therapy, because play is how children naturally express feelings they don't yet have words for. I also work with parents, offering guidance and support so you can feel confident helping your child through anxiety, big transitions, and everyday challenges.
I also work with teens and adults who are navigating anxiety, life transitions, self-esteem struggles, divorce, ADHD, or addiction. Whether you're a teen trying to make sense of big changes or an adult feeling stuck or overwhelmed, I offer a space where you can be honest, feel heard, and work toward the changes that matter most to you.
My approach is rooted in the belief that every person has the capacity to grow and heal when they feel heard, respected, and understood. I draw on humanistic, cognitive behavioral, mindfulness-based, and values-based approaches, as well as motivational interviewing, and I tailor my methods to each client. For clients who would like, I also offer faith-based counseling that honors your beliefs and values as part of the healing process.
Common concerns I help with include anxiety disorders, life changes, ADHD, self-esteem, parenting challenges, divorce, and addiction. Because no two people or families are alike, I take time to understand your story and goals so that counseling fits you.
