Hello, I'm Michael...

I work with adults who feel anxious, stuck, or internally conflicted—often because their faith or religious background has become a source of shame, fear, or confusion rather than support. Many of my clients come from Christian or Christian-adjacent contexts and are wrestling with questions of belief, identity, belonging, or self-trust.

I offer a calm, grounded, nonjudgmental space to slow down and make sense of what you’ve been carrying. My work often focuses on anxiety, shame, life transitions, relationship strain, and the lingering impact of spiritually harmful experiences. Together, we look at how old narratives—about God, self, or worth—are still shaping your inner world, and whether they’re actually serving you anymore.

My approach draws from CBT, narrative therapy, and meaning-centered work. I’m less interested in quick fixes and more interested in helping clients develop clarity, self-compassion, and a steadier internal foundation. Therapy with me is thoughtful, collaborative, and honest—especially when things feel tangled or hard to name.

Whether you’re untangling religious trauma or simply trying to live with more integrity and peace, I’ll meet you where you are and help you move forward at a pace that feels grounded and sustainable.
